Gabriella Bronze was an ordinary girl who lived in
an ordinary world-but one day, her life got extraordinary in a flash…
One day, Gabriella was taking a walk around her yard
when she noticed the mossy door that had remained locked for so long-had opened-curious,
she decided to see what was behind that door; so she hurried through it before
it decided to close and lock itself again.
Pretty soon, she came to a rope
wall; she looked up and whistled-it was a long way up to the top. She’d better
get started.
<>
Well, it took a while, but Gabriella
finally made it, she scrambled to the ledge and stood up-shocked to find a
message-in what appeared to be in blood-written before her:
YOU’RE NEXT
Gabriella started freaking out at
this-should she continue? But her adventurous self soon conquered over her
cautious self:
“Yes. I will continue-writing on the
wall never hurt anyone anyway.”
And so she trudged on until she came
to a lake-and a floating art set. Gabriella jumped back-art sets couldn’t
float; could there be an invisible person holding it? Only one way to find
out. Gabriella thought to herself:
“Hello, is anyone here?”
Nothing-except-the art box closed
and ‘floated’ down until it came to rest on a rock. Then a young man in a hood
appeared and turned to face her;
“May I help you?”
“I-I’m sorry to intrude, “Gabriella
started-he wasn’t scary-just…handsome. “I found a door in my yard and I wanted
to know where it came from.”
“You’re not the first.” The man
answered, “The people that lived in your house before you also visited me. But
I do not mind-for I am rather lonely.” Then he stopped, “I’m sorry, where are
my manners? I am Phi. Would you like a cup of coffee?”
“Y-yes, that would be nice. Thank
you. My name is Gabriella.” She looked shocked as Phi made the coffee float
over all by himself. “How can you do such things?” she asked as she went to
take a sip of her coffee-only to find it splashing on its own accord. Phi
laughed;
“I used to be a scientist, and I found a way to turn
invisible, to make things float, and to make thing move on their own.” Just
then, a falcon flew up and landed on his shoulder, he smiled at it, “Gabriella,
this is my friend; Kith.”
Gabriella smiled, “He is quite
handsome.” Just like you.
Phi smiled, “Feel free to visit anytime,”
“I will.”
<>
And Gabriella did visit Phi
again-the next day-and the day after that, and the day after that. In fact,
Gabriella spent a whole month with Phi; and she was growing deeper and deeper
in love with him-she thought he felt the same way-until one day all that
changed…
Gabriella climbed to Phi’s home only
to find that it was empty-only a floating chair in the water was there. She
crept cautiously to it and touched it; it stayed put, so she decided to sit on
it to see what would happen:
“Phi! Phi!” she called out as she
sat, “Where are you?”
Then she realized something-the
shore was getting farther and farther away from her-she was drifting out to
sea! Just then, the chair stopped and Phi entered the scene, Gabriella smiled;
“Oh Phi, thank goodness you’re here!
Now you can help me back to shore!”
Phi smiled, “I’m sorry. I can’t do
that. For I must leave now to rule the world.”
Gabriella gasped, “What-what do you
mean?”
Phi laughed evilly, “You were
fooled, Gabriella! The previous owners of your home didn’t move-they saw the
writing on the wall and were cursed! Just like you are.”
Gabriella was furious, “You lied to
me, Phi! No matter what you do, I will defeat you-your curse will not work on
me!”
Phi laughed, “Too late for that,
Gabriella!”
Then he vanished.
Gabriella looked at the surrounding
waters-she was trapped!
<>
Meanwhile, Phi searched in town hall
to see where the previous owners of Gabriella’s house was.
<>
Gabriella looked down at the murky
water and wished that she had listened to her parents and had taken swimming
lessons-too late-she was trapped in the middle of water; no time to learn how
to swim now, who knew how deep the water was?
Gabriella looked up to the sky and
cried;
“Oh, Lord Jesus, help me!”
Nothing happened-but wait-an Angel
of the Lord came down, took her by her arms, and pulled her back to shore where
she was set down.
“Thank you.” Gabriella said.
The Angel merely nodded and ascended
back to Heaven, Gabriella watched until the Angel was out of sight, then she
ran back to town-she knew that time was running out.
<>
Gabriella fled through the secret
door in her yard only to be stopped by Phi. Phi was standing there smirking;
“The previous owners of this home
have had their curse fulfilled-now it is your turn.”
Gabriella gasped, “How could I have
ever liked you?”
Phi laughed evilly, reached out, and grabbed her around the throat, she struggled, but it was pointless. Phi chuckled again and squeezed harder; “Good-bye, Gabriella.” Then he squeezed her the hardest that he could-Gabriella gagged, but then she fell faint. Phi released her and she fell to the ground, never to get up again.

“I have won! Now I shall go rule the

But before he left, he turned and
snarled, “I’m sure all reading this are thinking ‘he killed the main
character-why did he kill the main character?’ well I have news for you-she’s
not the main character-I am! So ha! Joke’s on you! And so, I will leave all of
you…(girly voice) clueless.”
